The sale is over and now it's time to answer the question that we've heard 1000's of times over the last few months..."When are you moving to the new store"?

The answer is, we plan to move in early November, once our display cases arrive. In the meantime, we are still 💯 fully operational at our old location and here to serve all of your jewelry, repair and custom design jewelry needs. We have also refilled our cases since the sale so there are thousands of amazing pieces to choose from!

We promise to give plenty of notice before our move and should only be closed for a few days as we make the transition to our beautiful free-standing location down the street, across from Walmart. Stay tuned for opening day and grand opening information. We can't wait to show you our beautiful new store and ALL the gorgeous new jewelry we have to fill it with! While we introduce you to the new and improved Harris Jeweler, all of the things that you have come to love, including our amazing staff, are making the move with us!

We are so thankful to all of our amazing clients who have shopped with us for the past 78 years. Many of you have shopped with my family for generations and for that, we are beyond grateful. Your support is what has made this move possible for us and we look forward to serving you in new and amazing ways with even more unique jewelry pieces!

The secret is out! Harris Jeweler will be upgrading to a new building 

Coming in Fall/Winter of 2024!


We are so excited to be making our biggest announcement in Harris Jeweler's 77-year history. Third-generation owner, Bonnie Harris Frey, announces a move to a large free-standing location right off Exit 74 in Troy on Main Street. Our current location has been out of space following year after year of exponential growth, but the new building will give us a whole lot more space and visibility. The free-standing location, which was formally a Ruby Tuesday, is going to allow us to serve their clients in a bigger and better way.

“I have been driving past this building, every day on the way to the store for 16 years. I knew it would be the ideal location for a jewelry store. We have been looking for a larger location for a few years but knew it had to be perfect to justify making the move from our current location down the street. Now the dream of a free-standing location is going to allow us to serve our clients in in ways we never thought possible”, says owner, Bonnie Frey.

Harris Jeweler is the most reviewed and the most highly reviewed jewelry store in the Greater Dayton area, with over 950 5-star Google review from three generations of clients. "Reviews from our loyal clients are the highest form of flattery and we are so grateful that they have spread the word about our family-owned business through reviews and referring their family and friends. They are the reason we have continued to grow exponentially year over year and have clients from all over the country. Our current location has low visibility and we don’t do a ton of advertising so people generally find us through these referrals and reviews.” said Frey.

The new location is expected to open in Fall/Winter 2024. The grand opening for the new location at 1780 W Main St. in Troy will be announced as we get closer to our projected opening. Our current location at 2343 W Main St. in Troy has been our home since 2001 and will stay fully operational and remain open until the new location is ready. The staff is excited to continue assisting our clients and promise to provide updates, sneak peeks and grand opening details for the new store along the way!

“What excites me most about the new location is that the things that have made us who we are today we will bring with us to our new location. Our most important asset is our staff, who are absolutely out-of-this-world! Not only is our staff extremely friendly and low pressure, they also have the most experience and education. Our staff has a combined experience of over 250 years in the jewelry industry and our company’s focus since my grandfather. Harold Harris founded the company in 1946, has always been on continued education. I always say that if we can just get people in our doors to meet our staff, they will never shop for jewelry anywhere else. I am so blessed with an amazing staff and without them, I would never even have dreamed of taking on a larger location.” Frey said.

So you can rest assured, all of your favorite's from the Harris Jeweler family, Bonnie, Jason , Donna, Allison, Craig, Sarah, Christie, Jim, Sara, Jessica, Matt, Rebecca, Laura, Jayne and Taylor are all making the move with us!

Harris, founded the company in Sidney, OH after returning from serving our country as a pilot in WWII. His commitment to integrity, ethics and continually exceeding the expectations of our clients has always remained the central focus of our company and will continue for years to come and I am honored to carry on our family legacy.” said Frey.

This award came after Bonnie's father and 2nd generation owner, Mark Harris, built our current location. Our store has also been voted #1 Jewelry Store in Miami County for 11 years in a row by our community in the Miami Valley Today Reader's Choice Awards. We have 77+ years of making jewelry dreams come true and can't wait to be able to continue to grow and expand in the coming years.
